Ron has an exceptional professional history of business start-ups, including another Colorado-based PCB assembly launched in 2004 and over 15 private golf clubs located in Florida, Texas, Arizona and California.
Until 2005, Mr. Huston worked full time as CEO/Owner of Advanced Circuits, manufacturer of printed circuit boards. He co-founded the company in 1989, performing every job in the company from startup to well over 200 employees. In 2005, as the then sole owner, Huston sold the company.
Advanced Circuits, while owned by Huston, grew from a mom & pop startup into an industry leader in printed circuit boards with annual sales exceeding $42 million. Under Huston’s leadership, Advanced Circuits was named one of Colorado’s 50 Fastest-Growing Technology Companies by Deloitte & Touche six times. The company was also selected as a Top 50 Small Business by the SBA in 2003 and received the Metro Golden award for environmental responsibility. In 2004, Fortune Small Business awarded Mr. Huston their "Best Boss" for an outstanding workplace.
Huston began his career as an electronics design engineer with McDonnell-Douglas Corp. in Long Beach, California. He holds a degree in electrical engineering from Wichita State University, Wichita, Kansas.
Kevin worked as the top executive of a Colorado-based PCB Assembly company for many years prior to helping launch SlingShot Assembly. He has deep experience in manufacturing operations, finance, accounting and executive leadership.
He also has worked and developed at some notable domestic and international organizations including Digital Equipment Corporation. He is a graduate of the corporation’s celebrated Financial Development Program. Kevin’s broad experience covers roles from Accounting, Financial Planning & Analysis, Systems, Procurement and Manufacturing. What’s the common theme here? Kevin earned a Bachelor of Business Administration, in Accounting, at the University of Massachusetts, Isenberg School of Management.
Stuart has diverse background centered around sales, marketing and new product development. He has helped launched numerous new ventures from a start-up software company to new business lines at Fortune 500 companies.
He has held various leadership roles with companies in numerous industries, including Media, Financial Services, Electronic Services Manufacturing, Data Analytics, and Marketing Services.
Stuart worked for 10 years at The Washington Post leading sales teams focused on local and national customers, including Director of Regional Sales. His background also includes internet project management for Wachovia Bank and sales management for Hanley Wood. He has an undergraduate degree in English and Psychology from Bucknell University and an MBA from Duke University.
Robert is an EE consultant with over 40 years’ experience in communications, embedded systems, logic and power design. He has extensive experience with power converters and battery chargers. In addition to hardware design, Robert has been heavily involved with software for these and general computer applications. The need for intelligent BOM processing for SMT circuits led to the development of several software applications used to automate assembly job setup. Various engineering CAD tools are used for circuit and PCB design. EE tool chains include OrCAD, PADs, Altium, SPECCTRA router, Mentor Hyperlynx, Verilog and VHDL. He has also developed custom internal tools for managing components, vendor information, datasheets and electronic packages. In addition to Windows applications, there are applications for Android, Apple IOS and MAC and Win64. He has experience with Delphi, C++, PHP, Dreamweaver and WordPress as well as extensive experience with database and application design on various desktops, Windows and Linux servers.
